The baskets we stock and manufacture are widely used in several industries around the U.S. and abroad.  We are renowned for making products using only the most durable wire mesh, perforated steel, and steel rod, which accounts for the long shelf life associated with all our industrial wire baskets.

Our baskets are used in ultrasonic cleaning systems, aqueous washing systems for degreasing and dipping, in deep fryers, straining processes and systems, circuit board cleaning systems, and other industry cleaning systems to say the least.

As different industries require different sizes and strengths of baskets with different finishes, handles, and other customized features, making a standard basket for sale across all industries, or even for a particular industry, is not practical.  Thus, most baskets manufactured by Sterling Filter and Metal Products, Inc., are designed according to our client’s specifications.  However, we do stock a number of baskets, especially ultrasonic baskets.

Aside from our day to day production and inventory, we will be happy to help you come up with a product that meets your needs.  We use 304 stainless steel mesh wire in most cases depending on the application needed.  Plain steel mesh can be used for many applications and we offer various coatings such as powder coating and electropolishing.  We do these processes in house allowing us to speed up production time and cut costs as opposed to sending the product to a sub contractor.

We always ensure the material required for a specific application is compatible with the process and product it goes with.  One element of our design and quality control procedure is to verify that the metal we are using will not react to chemicals in a specific machine, method, or industry it is being produced for.  We never recommend or take any short cuts.

Every Element Considered

Manufacturers often have to conduct different forms of treatment on the assembling parts they use.  For this, they need wire baskets to hold the parts they are treating.  The size of a basket to use depends on the size of item to be held.  Large stainless steel baskets are popular in industries where heating is a frequent component of the manufacturing process.  Our baskets are produced with the harshest processes in mind that they may go through.

Dividers can be made to be permanently welded to the basket or made to be removable.

The rod material that supports and holds our baskets together are usually one of two thicknesses: 1/4 inches and 5/16 inches.  Sterling Filter and Metal Products, Inc. is not restricted to using these sizes alone and adjusts the size to match the client’s capacity requirements without compromising on the quality.
